Cone density is an important factor, cause the hardness or softness  of a wound cone effects the yarn quality and volume of the cone. Too much hard or soft winding causes the poor quality. We can determine the Cone density as follows:

  1. Mass of wound cone (Yarn Mass) "M"
  2. Mass of Paper/Plastic "m"
  3. Height of wound cone "H"
  4. Upper diametre of wound cone "D2"
  5. Lower diametre of wound cone "D1"
  6. Upper diametre of Paper/Plastic "d2"
  7. Lower diametre of Paper/Plastic "d1"

Net Yarn Mass in gramm = (M-m)
